Welcome! Please join in celebrating the 150th anniversary of Peter Eixenberger immigrating to the United States of America from Germany. This milestone event will include a 3-day family reunion along with a celebration of Peter Eixenberger's legacy. It is an opportunity to connect with other descendants who have enjoyed the benefits of his American Dream for new opportunities, prosperity, and a better life.
The reunion will be held in the Deadwood-Spearfish area of South Dakota from June 15-17, 2026. The Elkhorn Ridge Resort will be used as a central gathering location. There are several lodging options including the Elkhorn and nearby hotels. A variety of activities are being planned, including group dinners, interactive ancestry displays, and visits to surrounding attractions in the Black Hills. The summer of 2026 also coincides with other historical milestones.
The 150th anniversary of the Battle of Little Bighorn on June 25-26 (Montana).
The summer of 2026 is also the 150th anniversary of the Black Hills Gold Rush
July 4th marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
